The Porsche 917 is one of the most iconic and successful cars in racing history. Throughout its lifespan, 65 examples were manufactured with at least nine variants including a 1000hp Spyder version that raced in the CanAm Championship. This photograph would appear to be circa 1969 and shows the original 25 units needed for homologation purposes.
