What are the Top 10 best cars to have appeared in The Fast and The Furious series? Donut Media walks you through theirs
I’ll admit it, I quite liked The Fast and The Furious. As a film, it was bloody awful, but as a ‘so bad it’s good’ waste of two hours, it offered endless amounts of entertainment. “I live my life a quarter mile at a time”. “More than you can afford pal”. “You can have any brew you want as long as it’s a Corona”. That’s good stuff, and up there with Godzilla ‘98, Demolition Man and Jason X as go-to mind-rotters at 1am when the Sandman is keeping you waiting.
One thing we’ve never been able to fault across many, MANY woeful Fast and the Furious sequels though are the cars. Yes, Vin Diesel’s acting career peaked with a literal lump of wood, the storylines are a convoluted web of plot holes, poorly hidden product placement, and, for some reason, Michelle Rodriguez. But the cars were always above reproach.
It’s no real surprise then, given that the latest instalment to this ‘epic’ series has dropped, that the internet is awash with the audience’s favourite cars from each of the eight films. Donut Media is no exception, as the team who brought you the ‘Evolution of’ series and Ryan Tuerck’s Ferrari-engined Gumout 4586 has lined up what they consider the best cars to ever grace the series. See how many of them you agree with.
And before you ask, no, we don’t understand how the ’70 Dodge Charger R/T isn’t higher up the list, nor how the ’70 Ford Escort RS1600 didn’t even make the cut.
