Aesthetic changes are subtle but the model does get a whole new generation of engine, with twin turbocharging. In the new Porsche lies a 3.0-litre flat-six engine, developing 365bhp, 332lb ft of torque from 1,700rpm, and a top speed of 294kph, while the Carrera S boasts 49bhp more, now reaching 308kph.
