Well I’ve just got in from a blast in my new old skool Merc after spending the last two hours looking around Al Aweer with good mate Mike. This time two weeks ago I was about to jump on a plane to Germany – How time zips by in this town. I am very sure it’s a Dubai thing.

Anyway, during my time at the Nurburgring I happened to have time to shoot what I would classify as my favourite type of race car and one that I would give anything to get behind the wheel! GT cars – Proper race cars.
Sports Cars as they are more commonly known represented the highlight of the race weekend in Germany. Following the third LMS round of the 2009 Season, the battle for the title in the series contested by the same sports and GT’s that race in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans is extreamely close….This particular race could be described as the kick off of the chase to the championship and from the side lines it certainly felt like that…

No.77 the Team Felbermayr Porsche 997 GT3 RSR was one of the most attractive and photogenic cars out there! I just couldn’t keep my glass off it. In the early stages Marc Lied; the lead driver was absolutely on it.

JMW Motorsport in their Ferrari F30 GT looking super sweet. If my memory serves me correctly the design for this particular car was opened up to global entries?!? Either way the Dunlop livery was very evocative..

Poncy noncy artistic shot from the depths of the pit lane during one of the practice sessions…I love hawking around and getting behind the scenes…I still find it strange that no other photographers are about when I’m wandering around looking like a lost sole.
Early morning practice session…surprisingly I was up and about during the early hours of the day…The fact that the sun is still low in the sky helps my argument..right?! I’m not telling you which way I was facing though haha
