We’re looking good. The new GM machine has not been built to hop from buried rock to up-turned tree root, but to clabber over without upending its inhabitants out the window. And if that approach fails, we simply plough through obstacles as and when they arise. We’re not scaling the north face of the Eiger – that really would leave the GM reps biting their fingernails with angst – but at no point do we lose grip and begin to skitter, the five-link rear suspension keeping the rears in check throughout.
