Lexus hybrid LF-LC Concept Car makes its regional debut at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show.
[Not a valid template]Lexus’ new hybrid LF-LC Concept Car has made its regional debut in the Middle East on the first day of the 2013 Dubai Motor Show.
Representing the company’s future design direction, the LFLC – Lexus Future Luxury Coupe – boasts a bold design that incorporates Lexus’ traditional front grille and mainstay features of its rear end design. Developed from the company’s flagship LFA sportscar, the curvaceous bodywork in particular are offset by slick headlights shaped like an L and vertical fog lamps. The bodywork – a lightweight mix of aluminium and carbon fibre – also includes a glass roof, jet afterburner-inspired taillights, quad exhausts, and polished aluminium trim, as well as a striking blue paint finish.
Though engine details are as of yet unconfirmed, the Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive is said to produce up to 550bhp and combines a petrol powerplant with advanced high-energy battery pack and electric motor.
Inside the LF-LC boasts race-inspired front seats, leather and brushed metal trim, racing style steering wheel with integrated buttons and start button, and an infotainment system showcasing twin 12.3-inch LCD screens.
The front-engined rear wheel drive LF-LC made its debut at last year’s Detroit Motor Show, design elements of which can also be found in the new LF-NX concept SUV – which made its first appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show – and the IS350 F-Sport.
