Cadillac will unveil the new 2015 Escalade to the region at the upcoming Dubai Motor Show on 5 November.
The much-anticipated Escalade – Cadillac’s flagship SUV – is set to go on sale in spring next year, and will share the stage with the all-new CTS and XTS Vsport, the first time either has been showcased in the Middle East. The news follows the Cadillac Escalade’s unveil via video from New York just two weeks ago.
The 2015MY Cadillac Escalade – the fourth generation of the line that debuted in 1999 – is powered by 420hp 6.2-litre V8, boasts a much bolder front end (particularly the front grille) and an all-new interior. Significant updates to the on-board technology are also expected. The new CTS meanwhile will be lower, longer and display a much bolder style, hallmarks of Cadillac’s Art & Science design philosophy. The third-generation CTS will also include 2.0-litre and 3.6-litre engine options, while the XTS Vsport will boast a new twin-turbo V6.
General Motors tends to take the Dubai Motor Show pretty seriously in the global calendar – in 2011, the all-new Chevrolet Trailblazer made its global debut in the United Arab Emirates.
