Our own little project 4banger (Porsche 912) used to be looked after at Francis Tuthill’s Workshop and having come up with every excuse under the sun to head down to their workshop in Wardington, just outside Banbury, I feel a little lost that I haven’t had the pleasure of walking around the yard checking out what pieces of automotive yumminess they have tucked here there and everywhere. I think living in the Middle East is a minor barrier…
Now this video which brings back these memories and makes me want to head back to the countryside of Oxfordshire is both a stunning shock to the visual and audible senses. It shows old school Porsche Junkie and good personal friend to the Tuthill Family, Chris Harris (EVO), well and truly hustling an Almeras 3.0 replica with 310hp and weighing in at a sprightly 950Kgs hard charging across the Oxfordshire countryside.
