A Huge congratulations to Wayne Pickles and his team for taking this 1968 Holden HK Monaro up to a staggering 217.155mph in the C/PRO class out at Lake Gairdner this year, and breaking the class record.
The 2010 speed trials was my first out at the salt lake, so this car was new to me, and I was completely mesmerised by it for the whole week. The look, the sound, and of course the epic speed.
