Edward Jones is a 14 year old chap with a talent that most mortal men dream of! I’m sure none of you could ever state catergorically that you didn’t at some stage dream of being a racing driver? Let alone a multiple champion at 14?!
Edward has had an eventful past season racing his trusty kart. Starting with the Rotax Grand Finals in December which he qualified to take part in due to his success in last years UAE championship.

He experienced so much in the week of the world finals as he took part in his first ever wet race during the first heat taking an impressive 3rd position even though he had led the race for the first few laps. Sadly after all the heats and the pre-final, Edward had had a few incident’s meaning that he lined up for the Grand Final in 28th.
Rather remarkably during the 20 lap race against the best Rotax Junior drivers in the world he carved his way through the field to 8th and in doing so nailed the fastest lap. Even though it was a great achievement he was slightly disappointed as he felt a better starting position would have netted a win!

During the summer Edward will be racing pretty much every weekend on the European circuit to prepare for this years Grand Finals. Here’s hoping a world championship might come his way.
