Is your Ferrari, your purebred piece of Italian automotive history, just not special enough? Then you may be interested in the company’s new Tailor-Made customisation programme, which offers bespoke versions of Maranello’s best. Its launch revives a tradition of the 1950s and 60s when cars were personalised as a matter of course by customers
Tailor-Made buyers can customise every last detail of their cars, from the exterior colour to the cabin trim, in consultation with a personal designer. Hopefully that final detail will stop some of the more, shall we say, hideous creations that those let loose with a colour palette can often envisage.
Three in-house collections offer inspiration in a range of different themes under the names Scuderia, Classica and Inedita, and customers will be invited to Ferrari HQ in Italy to see their car become reality as part of the process. Bring money.
