The Rimac Concept_One might ring a bell with one or two of you. It first debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 and, this being the world’s first electric supercar, caused quite a stir.
Performance details caused much salivating that weekend in Germany. Boasting 1088hp, the Concept_One (and yes, the underscore is correct) will apparently propel itself from standstill to 100kph in an eye-watering 2.8s. And the driver will only stop screaming when the Concept_One runs out of puff at 305kph.
Granted things have been a touch quiet on the Rimac front since then, the model’s striking looks returning to the shadows as Fisker and Tesla made their own strides into the electric battle arena.
But now a new warning shot has been fired from Rimac with this teaser clip ahead of a full preview video for the Concept_One. And they clearly mean business.
