The opportunity in this day and age to point at a Bugatti Veyron and proudly claim “that’s mine” is all too rare, for two pretty significant reasons. Exclusivity for one. Production of the 1000hp brute is fairly limited, and beating the rich, the famous and the aristocratic to the punch is always going to be difficult. And then of course, there’s the price tag: forking over $1,700,000 will quickly bring you to your knees both emotionally and financially.
But Visual Spicer may have stumbled across a solution. All you need is a bit of glue, a reliable printer, several boxes of A4 and a very free afternoon. Boom, your own Veyron!
There are limits to the plan, granted. Friends, family and well-wishers will need to stand up to 100 yards away for the ruse to pay off, the engine noise will only be heard via your imagination, and the chances of getting the project right first time are (if we’re being optimistic) slim. We prefer to think of it though as weight-saving on an extreme level.
