This is the Hennessey Venom GT, a Lotus Exige modified by the Texas-based tuning company that is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 6.2-litre V8 that can be found in the Corvette ZR1. Except this one pushes out up to 1200bhp. And because the Lotus weighs little more than a paperclip, that makes the Venom GT fast.

Now anybody hoping to see an asphalt -melting 0-100kph run may want to lower your expectations. This is an opportunity though to get an up close look at one of only four Venom GTs in the world today, straight from Dubai. And it’s difficult to turn that offer down.
