Look in the trendier, albeit sodden, areas of Chelsea, London, and you may find the odd grand tourer amidst the urban assault vehicles (sorry, school-run SUVs).

Take these two elegant beasts for example, recently snapped by the UK arm of crankandpiston, Luke Gilbertson. One offers luxury and opulence (and a flying lady) that wouldn’t look out of place at Harrods’ fashion halls, while the other offers barely muzzled power and made-to-fit comfort, wrapped in a scarlet suit.
