The Audi R8, but not as we know it.

This example, which made its debut at the Essen Motor Show, comes to us from Prior Design. The snappily titled (and thus easily memorised) PD GT650 comes complete with new side skirts, an enlarged front splitter, vented rear bumper, and various handfuls of mesh, plus a ridonkulous rear wing.

Whether the credit card-sized gap between the Goodyears and underside of the wheel arches also means the 4.2-litre V8 under the bonnet has received a tweak remains a mystery at the moment. We’d like to think though that a name with so many obscure letters and numbers in it translates to mean ‘supercharged’.
