If the ‘wow factor’ of the latest supercar wrapped in gold foil is the type of thing that floats your boat then you probably won’t be interested in the content of this latest XCARFilms release. Japanese workshop, motorFIX, are specialists in the humble (to some) Toyota Corolla and the focus of this film is the shacho’s own old beat-up E70.
Drift damage battle scars, a rattle-can painted door and finger painted rear end (in a completely different colour) complete the overall aesthetic which, I suppose, could be deemed as an aquired taste. There is no arguing, however, that a 1UZ-FE V8 under the bonnet would provide plenty of fun – and that is what Sakai-san and the guys at motorFIX are all about.
