Maybe the best NASCAR slot car set up we’ve ever seen.
Who doesn’t love slot cars? As a kid, I frequently spent hours setting up a rudimentary version of Silverstone on the living room carpet, so that I could tear the wings off small versions of ’80s F1 cars with my hamfisted cornering techniques. And then Dad would tell me to pack it away again, as dinner was ready.
But some people go beyond the youthful Scalextric dreams that I fostered as a boy, and carry on their slot car hobby to adulthood. Such as this chap in the US. He’s spent 15 years building an incredibly detailed NASCAR slot car scene in his house, and this is the result. It’s a remarkable feat, but I fear anyone as talented as I at racing would take out entire grandstands at the first bend.
Must be a bitch to clean too.
