DOTZ King of Sideways pit a plane against a BMW E92 for the first gymkhana drift dual of its kind.
Few will deny that Ken Block is the Gykhana king when it comes to drifting – despite competitors at the recent Gymkhana 1 Challenge in Umm Al Quwain trying to give him a run for his money – but DOTZ Kings of Sideways figured they had something special up their short sleeves. Something that would give the king no choice but to abdicate.
The plan includes the drift and acrobatic flying skills of Dominic Tiroch and Hannes Arch respectively, an almost completely deserted runway and aircraft hangar, a BMW E92 DD1 and a Red Bull-liveried bi-plane, the occasional female calf muscle, and a dual that kicks out a lot of smoke.
We’re more pre-occupied though with 1m 12s. How could she not flinch in that situation?
