The words of Nate Hamilton as he walks us around the 1990 Nissan 240SX with which he takes on his rookie campaign in Formula Drift. So far so learning curve for the Dallas-born drifter, who’s made the top 32 at both round 2 in (‘Road to the Championship’) and round 4 in New Jersey (‘Gauntlet’).
As with all debutants, Hamilton – or Lil’ Tex – is looking for a successful first year, mostly by “keeping it simple” with the ONE44 Motorsports crew. Take a look under the bodyshell of the Nissan and you’ll see just what he means.
