We first posted pics of this wicked looking 240Z a month or so back on our Facebook page and it caused such a stir that we had to find more pics of it. Thankfully after some serious digging and plodding around the net we found some more on motoringconbrio.
Info on the car itself is very thin on the ground, however as always with cars like this – pictures speak a thousand words. Massive 11 inch slicks…inky black paint and lovely gold detailing to highlight just a couple of touches of class that this car oozes.
Back in 2004, Sports Car International named the beautiful 240 number two on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1970s. I think we openly agree that when done right they are one of the most appealing Japanese cars ever produced. As with most Japanese cars of the time, they seemed to slip away to the dreaded tin worm and seeing cars in the nick that this puppy is in is a rare treat.
Originally produced with a 2.4L inline 6 producing a weedy 151bhp, we have a sneaky suspicion that this particular car might be packing something a little bit more ferocious. Word is that along with the flawless original interior and the mighty meat 11inch slicks bolted up to each corner, she has a 3.2 Rebello Racing Built Stroker motor (a very well respected Nissan engine builder) up front.
If you know the car, or at least have some more info on it, we would be very happy to hear from you.
