We’re not even going to try and work out the figures involved with this one. Suffice to say, lots and lots of horsepower and an entire bank’s worth of exotic machinery gathered at the weekend. McLaren P1? Of course. The new 650S? Two of them. Jaguar XJ220? Naturally. Ferrari F40? Certainly, and in yellow. And so on, and so forth.
The gathering at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in the UK was the super-secret super season opener of the Supercar Driver season, a UK-based supercar owners’ club that organises regular meet ups. Super. This is the fourth such event, but organiser Adam Thorby wanted it to be the biggest yet. Looks like he succeeded, and he managed to raise some $5000 for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice by asking for a donation from everyone taking part. Everyone’s a winner!
