The truly epic and undeniably gob smacking Rolls-Royce Phantom has redefined not only Rolls-Royce but also the luxury car market. From it’s inception to this day there has yet to be an uber luxury barge produced that can match it for it’s sense of occasion and appeal.

So when an opportunity to undertake a journey of immense proportion presents itself and a choice of any car is thrown your way what do you do? Supercar? Would be cool but very tiresome! A Prius to undertake the economy challenge? Nope!

Take a V12 engine that at 120kph has over 90% of its power available in reserve, making for effortless acceleration and you now have a journey on your hands. A Roller it is then…to Salalah we go.

Now this is probably the only part of the journey that I would wish I had grabbed the keys to a GT3RS or a Gallardo. Roads that we only thought existed in Europe are here, within driving distance.

Greenery – one aspect of Oman that is so appealing. Salalah has the pleasure of receiving the brunt end of the Monsoon season meaning grass actually grows naturally, rather than needing irrigation on an hourly basis.
