So the day that a lot of people have been waiting for has arrived and passed. The Official Press Day for the UAE Motorsport Season! I still can’t get my head around the need to have a press day over two weeks before the actual start to the season, especially when the organisers must know that 90+% of the competitors will either have their car in pieces or not be able to afford the time off from their day to day routines. It is an amatuer event after all!

Next year why not host it either the week before or at on race day itself and get some interest built in the racing…Any who enough of my pointless rambles and on with the pics – There were thin pickings as expected but some pretty cool cars made their way out onto the steaming hot tarmac.

What more can you say – Black Falcon built BMW! Will be going head to head with the crankandpiston Golf in Class 1 of the touring car champs this year. You could not meet a more proper Gent either than the man behind the wheel…I for one am looking forward to the challenge.
