Slotting in as Lexus’ entry-level SUV beneath the RX (though sharing very little engineering-wise with its premium crossover compact sister model), the NX features not only a distinctive design but also the first-ever turbocharged petrol engine from Lexus, namely the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder under the bonnet that turfs out 235hp and 258lb ft of torque. With four different trims levels to choose from – from the base level Premier to the full-fat F-Sport Premium – prices range from $43,500 to $55,800.
