Ford‘s design team turns their attention from the Ford GT to boats, guitars and table football.
[Not a valid template]Who likes the new Ford GT? We think it looks pretty snazzy, and we’re clearly not the only ones. Ford’s latest supercar has been the inspiration for a load of designs at the Salone del Mobile design expo in Milan, Italy.
Admittedly all the ideas you see here were produced by Ford’s global design team, but still, it’s a cool little exercise to show what goes on in the minds of creative types. The range includes a boat, guitar, table football and furniture, all produced with what Ford calls the same “design philosophy” as the GT – clarity of intent, innovation and connection.
Some of the results are a bit abstract for our simple tastes, although we’d take the guitar in a heartbeat.
