Novitec Rosso has once again turned its screwdrivers Maranello-wards, their subject this time the turbocharged Ferrari California T.
[Not a valid template]Key to the new N-Largo is the Novitec’s engine tune, which pushes power in the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 up from 552bhp to 668bhp, peak power available only 100rpm lower than the stock model. Torque has also increased from 557lb ft to 642lb ft, in doing so dropping the 0-100kph time by four tenths to 3.2 seconds and raising the top speed 10kph to 325kph. The performance increase comes courtesy of a remapped engine management system and a new stainless steel exhaust, though the V8 remains mated to Ferrari’s twin-clutch transmission.
The N-Largo also introduces an extra wide bodykit to its modded California T in homage to the team’s previous F12berlinetta and Ferrari Speciale projects. Said revamped carbon fibre bodywork includes wider fenders front and rear, a rear axle 11cm longer than stock, and a new front bumper. The new alloy wheels meanwhile are equipped with performance Pirelli P-Zero tyres – 255/30 ZR 21 at the front, 315/25 ZR 22 at the rear – and envelope carbon-ceramic brake discs.
