Could a real-world version of the Nissan Concept 2020 N Vision Gran Turismo mark a design direction for the brand new (possibly hybrid) GT-R?

Nissan has announced that a real world version of its Concept 2020 N Vision Gran Turismo will make its debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
Having made its Playstation debut a little over a year ago, the Motor Show model will appear in full ‘fire knight red’ paint and boast the company’s latest generation ‘V-Motion’ front grille, most recently seen on the Gripz crossover concept that debuted recently at Frankfurt. The news comes shortly after the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo stole the show and coincides with the official arrival of Nismo to the Middle East.
This is not the first instance of a real-life 2020 N Vision Gran Turismo being built, however, Nissan’s designers building a concept from the ground up shortly after the concept’s Playstation debut at company’s CEO’s at the time lauding ‘how a high performance supercar from Nissan may look like in the future’. This has led many to speculate that design aspects of 2020 N Vision Gran Turismo could make their way across to the next generation GT-R, power for which it has been mooted could be provided by a hybrid version of the existing model’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 as developed by performance arm Nismo and the Formula 1 Williams Team.
