McLaren reveals limited edition, Middle East only 650S will land at the upcoming Dubai International Motor Show
McLaren has confirmed that a Middle East only limited edition model will be unveiled at the upcoming Dubai Motor Show. Developed in collaboration with McLaren Special Operations (MSO), only five of what the British marque calls ‘one of the most exclusive 650S projects to date’.
Other than a teaser snapshot showing the words ‘M50’ next to the 650S moniker on the dihedral door side skirt, few details have been revealed, other than an ‘insight’ that ‘this supercar is the result of the imagination of our customers from the region, and our designers being influenced by the region.’
MSO though is well known though for customized bodykits and bespoke interior detailing – as we found out way back in 2012 – so we expect the limited edition 650S to embody new leather, a commemorative plaque of some kind, and a crap-load of carbon fibre ‘refinery’. Oh, and a hefty price tag.
The new model comes swiftly on the heels of the release of the 570S and the 675LT, McLaren’s latest additions to the Sports and Super Series respectively. Expect news of both soon…
