We have been quite lucky over the past couple of years when it comes to hunting down – and showing the wider world – some pretty cool old school metal. Unfortunately, a lot of it has been left on the side of the road to slowly rot away into the earth.  From the Jaguar XJ220 to the Ferrari Mondial, the stories have touched a spot with people and petrolheads alike.  Syndicated across the world and spread across facebook and twitter like wildfire, the pics have found themselves appearing in all sorts of place.

Now, we stumbled across these iconic pieces of American and European history a while back – but have been sitting on them waiting for the ideal moment to show you all.  That moment has gladly arrived…

There is however a very different story behind these pics as opposed to the shots of that Ferrari.  What you may ask? Well, this collection of cars have actually been rescued from their death beds and are sat patiently in line awaiting a thorough concours revival. That’s right, each one of these awesome vehicles will be coming back to life wearing a new dress and treads.

    Hi Phil McGovern, I currently own two classic mustangs which I am looking to sell, 1970 Mustang Fastback, and a 1965 Mustang Coupe (Soft Top). Both vehicles are fully restored. Is there any way that would you be able to put me in touch with the collector who has bought the above vehicles? Or provide contact details of the garage where these classics are being restored?     Holy cow… Despite being a teenager, I love these old classics. That Thunderbird + Squarebird with the hardtop is something I desire, VERY MUCH

    It will be quite the investment needed to rescue these cars, but by the looks of it, the lucky owner is probably more than capable 🙂
