It doesn’t matter what you do, but technically you can never beat time. At least you can have fun trying though, because Yas Marina’s South configuration is hosting the first Time Attack in the UAE on April 1 for a range of stock and modified cars.

Bring your best Keiichi Tsuchiya and Nob Taniguchi impressions, and tear some tarmac up without ending up at the impound lot with at least two 1-3-1 sessions (out lap, 3 flying laps and a cool down) for the AED950 charge.

Whatever you drive, the guys at Extreme Super Lap will find a group to make you feel welcome, with classes for bone stock sports cars, to unlimited modified cars with slick tyres and roll cages. Drive type obviously plays a part too, and because you’re racing the clock instead of other drivers, the potential for carnage is significantly lowered which means more safety and fun for everyone.
