After the race, Simmonds and Al Azhari were called to the stewards office following their tete-a-tete during the early part of the race.  Seemingly wrists where slapped and that was that…However, alongside that, MSW lodged a complaint about Skula’s move at the race start, alleging that the young Czech driver overtook him while off the track.  This complaint resulted in a drive through penalty for the HoP/TAM Corvette, handing the GTB championship to the Motorsport Wheels Squad.  Rounding off a successful first season in the GT’s for the MSW squad.
