The Toyorarri hybrid drift car gets to go on track for the first time and it’s super happy about it!
The guys from Donut Media know really well how to please us with kickass videos, and this time it’s with Ryan Tuerck and his Ferrari-powered Toyota GT86 (Build process here, here and here). The boys headed down to Willow Springs International Raceway and alongside Ryan is Chris Forsberg with his 370Z drift car which he uses for demos.
The sound of the GT4586 is just mental with that V8 pulled out of a 458 Italia, and the guys seem like they’re having a lot of fun with it. I feel pretty bad for that Porsche Carrera trying to chase them with a front-mounted camera, I’m sure it ate a lotta tire debris.
It looks like the car’s happy with its N/A power, but I wonder what could happen if you add a couple of turbos to it. Hmm.. Ryan, Do it!
