Yes, for the Airfix enthusiasts amongst you, the two newboys – a Lamborghini Aventador and a Bugatti Veyron – may look a little out of sorts in the company of a Hawker Hurricane MkI and a Messerschmitt Bf109E-4, but the build time is much simpler than the Pocher kit (and much less expensive at $10). Each Quick Build set comes with each piece ready painted and simply clicks into place: try to imagine if Sant’Agata had a LEGO production line.
If you’re looking for something slightly more time consuming and fiddly to spend your evenings swearing at though, then Airfix also offers kits for an Aston Martin DBR, a Ford Fiesta WRC, a Jaguar XKR GT3, and a Triumph TR4A amongst others. There’s even a 1930 4.5 Litre Bentley in 1:12 scale for $100 if you’re feeling really brave.
