American Gassers Stephen Biggs and Daniel Kemp fire up the Cannon Chev and Ford Funderbolt for a drag blast at Heathcote Park Raceway.
Regular readers will no doubt be familiar with the term ‘donk’, the practice of raising the suspension on your prized Ford, Chevy, Plymouth or Lincoln cruiser and whacking on alloys so large that driving them becomes – as is the case with this Hummer H2 – a task of ‘how’ rather than ‘when’. It’s an eclectic taste, let’s just put it that way, and there’s a good example HERE (Ford Crown Victoria).
Competitors at the Heathcote Park Raceway in Victoria, Australia, took a similar principal albeit with a twist during a recent drag run. Stephen Biggs and Daniel Kemp lined up in their American Gassers – the Cannon Chev and Ford Funderbolt respectively – but someone had clearly forgotten to mention that their donk front wheels had been nicked.
Just as well really, considering the speed with which both flew out of the traps.
