You may have noticed the sea of ‘Vision Gran Turismo’ models that have been unveiled – and which are available for download for GT6 owners – from Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and even Nissan. One of the last to throw their virtual keys into the bowl was Aston Martin, with the snappily titled Design Prototype 100 – DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo. If looks could kill, Aston’s newboy would be the grim reaper’s company loaner.
But whilst the whole point of a ‘Vision’ Gran Turismo car is to wow with gorgeous line and general bat shittery, there is slightly more to the design process, as the crew at XCARFilms found out behind the scenes.
