Final questions are being asked and trays of nibbles are starting to circulate. The Aston team is looking confident. Rather than working through a partner, the showroom will be managed directly by the manufacturer itself, thus keeping long-term objectives firmly in-sight. The team will need time to acclimatise to the region and it’s – I’ll be sure to put this delicately – penchant for the outlandish and slightly exaggerated, but the fact that the new showroom is the first in the world to offer the new 565bhp V12 Vanquish to customers certainly won’t hurt.
Either way though, it’s great to see the British marque making its return, and we’re not just saying that for first dibs on the Vanquish.
