Audi’s Quattro system and tuned adaptive air suspension also means that the back end remains planted. Expect pursuing motorcycles and squad cars to get some air over the smallest of jumps, and this should allow you to open the gap.
The brakes are also a key attribute, especially when you find a roadwork crew/oversized cement lorry/old man with a donkey inexplicably blocking your path on the road.
Whilst your pursuers will no doubt careen into the aforementioned object (possibly with explosive consequences), the S8 thanks to both ABS and good feel for the discs should see you slip through unscathed.
It should be plain sailing from there back to the hideout, which if we’re sticking with tradition should be an abandoned industrial area. Then there’s just the little matter of dividing the loot, rolling the streaked saloon into a storage shelter, and getting to Puerto Fino before the airports are alerted.
So that, apparently, is what crankandpiston can expect from its Audi S8 loan. Who says we don’t work for our money?!
