The modern-day daddy versus… its daddy.
The Nissan GT-R is one of the most acclaimed sports cars of recent years. But it’s only the latest in a long line of Nissan GT-Rs, which formerly sported the Skyline name.
The last GT-R named Skyline was the R34, and the team at Car Throttle decided to get new and old together, to see what separates the two in terms of performance. The R35 obviously has a considerable edge when it comes to power, but we all know that there’s more to driving fun than bhp. The R34, for example, sports a manual gearbox – no flappy paddle nonsense. Is this a case of fast versus fun?
