BMW has launched the new special-edition BMW M3 30 Jahre edition to celebrate 30 years of M3.
The BMW M3 30 Jahre Edition builds on the Competition Package, increasing engine output by 19hp to 450bhp. And mated to the seven-speed M DCT gearbox means the model can sprint from 0 to 100kph in just four seconds (0.1 seconds faster than the series production model).
On the exterior, the special-edition features BMW Individual Frozen Silver metallic paint, with BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line, plus black chrome tailpipe trim for the M sports exhaust system, as well as a carbon fibre front splitter and trims, mirror caps, rear diffuser and a carbon fibre rear spoiler. The new model also sits on 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with 666 M star spoke design. The edition model also features exclusively designed M gills in the front wings bearing the logo ‘M3 30 Jahre’.
In the cabin, seatbelts feature woven-in BMW M strips, alongside the BMW M Performance Alcantara Steering wheel and BMW M Performance Alcantara Gear Selector trim and surround, as well as an exclusive full leather Merino trim in bicolour Black/Fjord Blue with colour-matching contrast seams.
The BMW M3 30 Jahre edition will be priced at $120,750 when it goes on sale in the summer.
