At the Dubai International Motor Show, we’ve pushed our way past a reinforced crowd surrounding the Aston Martin stand, who it seems will not be moving along anytime soon. Then again, neither will we.
The DBS is front and centre, the bodywork just as styled and sleek as the DB9 it honours showcased on its debut. A timeless design certainly. Before we get a chance to turn and fire at a nearby camera lens a la James Bond, we’re quickly placed in front of the Cygnet by our Aston Martin hosts. Playing with the big boys certainly (would you want to share the stage with a Vantage S?) but Aston’s baby boasts a flawless finish and superb interior layout, enough to make one raise an eyebrow.
It’s been little over twenty-four hours since we brought you news of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato launch. We just had to see the old girl one more time.
Aston’s British playmate Jaguar have put on a bit of a show too. Given the relentless traffic surrounding it, the appeal of the XJ Sport is unlikely to wain during the coming days. A luxury cruiser from the inside, a snarling bastion of power and sophistication on the outside. Off to the side, the XKR-S – awesomeness beyond measure, no? – keeps the XJ from getting too big for its Pirellis.
