It seems like an age ago that the team at EVO Middle East found themselves as the first bunch of Journos – globally – to get behind the wheel of a Caparo T1 around a race track.

I was lucky enough to be there that day and still remember the intense feeling the car created under load around the Dubai Autodrome. An intense vibration through the bulkhead made me feel super sick if I remember correctly…having raced cars for a number of years, it is still a feeling I couldn’t get my head around.

Therefore, I can’t get my head around what Phil Bennett from EVO must have been going through when he shot this clip. Intense probably doesn’t do it justice in the slightest!!

Sadly the record blitzing time was never nailed, but I am sure they will be back to set the record straight come the new season.
