Apologies for the delay in getting of my backside and posting these however things have been a bit busy here at cranlandpiston as I am sure you have noticed. So here we are, looking back a couple of weeks now to that crazy night down at the Emirates Motorplex. This post will be a bit more about the scene that was going on down there and the awesome people that seemed to be loving every minute of it.

This chap seemed to take to the idea of a white dude and a camera and dragged me around the grandstand taking pics of him and his mates. As you can see the smiles were huge and the atmosphere was just as big.

I got this snap completely by chance as the Land Cruiser made it’s way backwards towards Mike Bale with all four wheels spinning furiously forward..

One of the weapons of choice – The old skool Land Cruiser pick-up. Look at those rear wheels…Fegged I think is a good description. He did however make a good effort of trying to drive off down the road like this.

Team Bazoka seemed to have a serious collection of cars down there that night. This mean green machine stayed parked up while we were there. We more than likely missed it from being lazy and enjoying the ride down.

The winners being trailered back to the entrance. As we walked back we were offered a ride with them but politely declined on the grounds of wanting to get home in one piece.
