I think most people can appreciate that Motorsport is growing rather nicely in the UAE at the moment! One team that has come to the forefront this season is the Abu Dhabi based team Falcon Racing. Packing a three car punch in the form of Porsche 997 Cup Cars and supported by ARM Motors they aim to play hard, race hard and represent the Regions capital as the only wholly Abu Dhabi entry in this years UAE GT Championship.

When I say wholly I mean even down to the sponsors that they are focusing on. It might actually be worth noting here that Falcon Racing are actually one of the first teams on the grid to actually start to bring big Corporate players to the table!

Abu Dhabi Falcon Racing’s team leader is Khaled Al Qubaisi and for those that might not know, Khaled is picking up some killer experience as the seasons go by. First off he took part in the Porsche Supercup round at the 2009 Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix and with extensive trials and further training he hopes to take it to the rest of the competition in the Porsche Cup Middle East.

The Falcon Racing cars do look great out on the track – It is also safe to say that Cup Cars look and sound incredible.

The second driver in the team is Said Al Assam. A proper chap and one of those undercover guys that actually has some pretty serious racing history. Unbeknown to many he was the first Middle Eastern Racer to reach Formula 3, in the shape of the highly competitive British Championship.
