It’s a bit way out west this post to be honest with you….I was sat thinking about some bits and bobs that I would like to do on the underground drag racing scene that is prominent here in the Middle East and this Ferrari sprung to mind.

Drag Racing has been popular in an around the GCC for a number of years now with inter county rivalries proving to be a great stimulus for competitors and spectators alike. However the choices of machines are yet to hit the varied and rather odd collections of drag cars found around the rest of the world. Other than the odd one or two dual purpose Nissan Patrol’s (Moreeb) the staging lanes are mostly filled with American heavy metal or crazy Nissans.

So as the scene grows, maybe some more oddities will appear?! You never know, a couple of air cooled VW’s might turn up and embarrass the heavy hitters.
