When the convoy is soon back on the road again, another new(ish) face makes an appearance. The 360 is getting on in years now, having first hit the scene back in 1999, but six years in production and a successor – the F430 – who’s design inspiration was a sheet of tracing paper shows just how popular the 360 and its bubbling V8 were back in the day.
It seems all the more appropriate then that at the Meydan Race Course in Dubai, Justus’ camera lens should fall on this 430 Scuderia Spider 16M.
Built to commemorate Ferrari’s 16th Formula One Constructor’s Championship in 2008, the 315kph 16M was essentially a convertible 430 Scuderia with a new paint finish, go faster stripes and renewed exclusivity. Less than 500 were built.
