Chances are you’ll already have seen this particular image: an image that any petrolhead with a pulse will already have as their desktop screensaver.
This teaser, plus a cheeky shot of a scarlet derriere, was released through Ferrari’s official online magazine and shows the next step for the company. This, the Special Limited Series, will be the successor to the Enzo.

And there’s plenty of that already. There’s more than the Enzo the newboy needs to worry about, after all.
The name for starters. Codenamed the F150, it’s surely only a matter of time before Ford start hammering on the door for fear America’s favourite pick-up will once again be mistaken for an Italian supercar. But there’s also the lineage. The new F150 follows in the highly hallowed footsteps of the GTO, the sometimes popular F50, and – of course – the all-conquering F40.
A family tree that takes a lot of climbing, without doubt. And crankandpiston is looking forward to that journey.
