I for one always like a bit of variety as far as automotive eye candy is concerned. I love the hot rod shows, even seeing the same cars over and over again doesn’t get tiring as they are more often than not very easy to look at.
One cool genre who always show their support at the rod events here are the VW guys. They always bring something a bit different in to the mix, and they bring alot of attention from the crowds.
I’m a bit of a VW nut too, so I love it when they come and park up. This year at the Kustom Nationals, there was even a Mk1 Golf that came along for the ride!
It’s good to see things get mixed up a bit, and I hope that some more alternative brands start to tag along in the future.
